The Weak Will Inherit The Marathon

The run is the hardest part of the triathlon for me. Is it because I am a weak runner? Maybe. If I believed that maybe I wouldn't do triathlon. I believe I can run, and have run, fast. A few people have said that I have run too hard in training, so that by the time a race comes, my legs are finished. So I have rested more but it seems I am still doing ordinary training runs too fast. If that's true then I can say, "Cool! So if I train less hard I will do better..." It doesn't seem to make sense...but I will be training slower than usual, and also do more regular hill running, which is like HARD running. This is a picture of Paula Radcliffe, who is normally the world's best female marathoner. She did not even finish the marathon in Athens, or even the 10km race a few days later, and could not explain why. She simply felt exhausted. I know the feeling. Posted by Hello
