Week 3 Day 3
No training today.
On Thursday I expect I will have to give serious thought to getting myself ready for Indoor Bike Training. In order to do that I have to exchange the sprockets on two of my wheels. This means I have to take both wheels to a mechanic and he has to unloosen, swap, and tighten the sprockets. The reason is I use my Cannondale to race (because it is light and aero) and my Trek to train, including indoors (because it is heavy, more comfortable, and less aero). Both chains and sprockets have different wear on them, so I need to use the right sprocket with the right chain, otherwise it makes irritating noises and shifting is not smooth.
So I need to set that up soon.
I expect to swim and visit the gym tomorrow and get my first cycle in on Friday.
I am very aware of my foot, and can feel an almost constant pulling sensation in it. I feel like I should try to stand on it as little as possible. This is not something that is easy to do if you're a teacher. In any case, I will focus on what I can do and continue to build a fitness base.
