Here is REAL Emoja for you! In the show we saw last night the drum was used the most. It was a lot like the one these african kids are using, but bigger, and they used a few. The Koreans can really appreciate music with drums because it is an instrument they use in their traditional dances, and made a lot of noise during the World Cup. In the show some of the dancers also used tin cans, gumboots, and a wooden xylophone (is that the right name for it?) to make music.
The guy on the left is Francois ('Franna') Vorster, a real character, and a guy a group of us triathletes trained with in South Africa. He's a pretty good runner, as you can see here. Here he is competing in the 2004 Half Ironman in Port Elizabeth. I will be running on this road on the 20th of March 2005. This time it will be the full Ironman distance.
Is he getting sidetracked, or distracted by anything out of the ordinary? No, he's just smiling. I hope I'll see him and possibly train with him when I am back in South Africa.
