Puppy Love
I went for a run before my second session today. I saw some brides and their entourages in Lake Park, a camera crew near the fountain (probably to shoot a commercial), and then legged it up Jeongbalsan. Legs felt really tired, and at the top I lay down on a tyre - to stretch my back. I felt so alive. I could feel my heart kicking in my chest, and blood whooshing into my arms, making them lift slightly as each pulse of blood gushed towards my fingertips. I was lying transfigured in the cold air, with my head almost upside down, and the sun blasting bright yellow at my forehead.
On the other side the park was a torrent of colors, yellows and reds. Gobon, on the other side of a drab brown swathe of suburbia, was awash in the full flames of fall.
This puppy gave me a bit of support. As you can see, the Koreans have bought into the white picket fence thing too...
I came back to take these pictures after I had lunch.
