Getting into the swim...
I had a great swim during my lunchbreak today. Did 100 lengths, which is 2km, in 46 minutes. I did 10 sets of 10.
First one: 3:20
Then: 3:10
Then close to 3:00 (the last three each slightly quicker).
Sixth set was kicking, and then the 7th I went hard: 2:50
Did sprints for the rest and chatted to an old man and his trainer (a blonde girl). Water was very hot - about 29 C.
I felt quite tired later in the day, so obviously a good effort.
My weight: 82.92kg. It's great to be under 83kg. I think what has helped me lose weight is staying off soda and fruit juice, and cutting out red meat and white bread. I want to get under 80kg so that I don't have to kick my fat butt so hard on the bike, in the pool, and on the run.
