I grew up here, at the Stadium Pool. I swam before and after school, and on Saturdays. I seemed to spend all my free time here. The water is always
crystal clear, and the glassy clear skies and
yellow sunbeams bounce in the water.
It is so nice to swim through networks of light that
fire off the floor of the pool in chains and silver webs. It is so nice to be swimming in an outdoor pool again, feeling the sun on your skin, and the water moving around your head. In indoor pools they always insist that you wear a cap.
