Dusty Road
There is a place where the land still teems with life, the way it once did.
This is a place in Botswana called Mabua.
If I wasn't training for the Ironman now, I'd be wandering around here today with my Papa. Lately I have been struggling a bit with motivation, asking myself: Why am I doing this?
When these questions pop up sometimes it is better just to carry on and do what you were doing. Interrupting a pattern this late in the day is very not good.
Still, I hope to come back to South Africa recovering from a race, and being in the Bushveld will be an awesome way to unwind and re-connect with nature.

Must be nice! Connecting with nature!!
Thanks Terminus and Michelle. Yes the light in this country is so different. There is just a vitality in nature that is quite unique around here. Michelle your marathon blog sounds cool. Will have a look and see if I can make a contribution (although it may just be in terms of time, interest and participation) in your effort. Thanks for your interest in mine.
