Physio: 1:30
If I count last weeks physio then I did do about 15 hours total training! It's not like I lie on a mat and someone rubs me, I do lots of stretching, and core work that is designed to provide strength and endurance to mostly my abdominal musculature. Each session is quite tiring, and each session is more tiring than the last.
Had a good chat with Liza today.
Swim: 3km
Total Time: 1:02
Weight: 78.05kg
1st km: 15:21
4x250m
Best: 3:21 (Best last year, 3:04)
Also did 2x250m kick. Right leg feels a lot weaker when kicking.
5x50m
Best: 33sec
Feeling strong and stroking the water nicely. Happy to see my 250m time dropping so quickly. Need to go under 3:20 now.
Had lunch with Hannes in Cycletech. Bought a bottle for the 140km ride tomorrow. Will have to get an early start if I go the first 30km with a small group.
Lena came in later and we all had chicken sandwiches. Delish. Then more customers came in and ordered the same from the shop across the hall.
Leg muscles feel a bit stiff, from the run and fairly hard cycle yesterday. Will have to be conservative on tomorrow's ride.
Will hopefully run along the top of Naval Hill this evening, miss the Photography Club thing at the National Museum, and maybe run with a bag with Jen and maybe get a few sunset pictures of the giraffes and zebras up there.
