We Are All Children Of Africa

Jan, Alfred and Jerimiyah. I've noticed a lot of the Africans now speak with very good English accents, even tonight, the cashier at Nando's sounded like a girl from Cape Town. Quite impressive.

Things are certainly changing. I went to a house that once belonged to a schoolfriend and found it filled with Ugandans, all very well spoken. I also spoke to an Asian fellow eating something in the 'Bridge Cafeteria' and he told me he is from China, studying Biochemistry, and he chose Free State University (yes, in Africa) because the education is value for money. In other words it's worth coming to study here (all the way from China) because education here is cheap.

I also saw a lot of exotic people at the univeristy pool. Some Asian people who might have been from Indonesia or Singapore, and a few Africans with braided hair who might be from Nigeria or Ghana or something.

It is popularly believed that Africa is where man, well homo spaiens as we know ourselves today, where we were born and nurtured on this Earth. The Bushmen provide a glimpse of what we were like (and even what color we all were) once upon a Stone AgePosted by Hello
