Even before the Great Trek, the Van Tonder's were here. There farm stretched from Maselspoort, to the N1. Our farm is a mere snippet of what was once their holdings, but they must have liked the land, because they buried their family in a small copse of Bluegums overlooking the river. Some of the graves appear to be close to 200 years old.
