Go Big Or Go Home

How far will I ride today? I meant to get up for a 160km cycle today, but so far am still here (and it's 9am).

I called Jean and he said he can join me, but only after 3pm, and that will mean only about a 100km. He also says there is a half Ironman next weekend in Vanderbijlpark. I think I will definitely do that. Even if just to test the strength of my leg on the run. Also a nice 4-5 hour workout, and a lovely primer for the Ironman.

If I want to go big today I still have time today, and it seems like today is not going to be a cooker, so maybe I will ease my way onto the bike towards 10am or 11am.

I meant to go to the bank to find out why my atm card isn't giving me money from Korea, but a friend emailed me the bank's website, and they are upgrading their services, so are temporarily offline during the Chinese New Year (holiday) period. The bank says they will be back online from Friday onwards, so at least now I know why that is happening.
In a way it has been a blessing in disguise. I meant to transfer quite a big amount to put in unit trusts, and in the last few days the Rand has really devalued against the dollar, meaning I can get more bang (more Rands) for fewer Korean bucks.
Hopefully there won't be a correction with the currencies before Friday.

And I need to get my CV to Quintiles today. Looking forward to getting that done. Posted by Hello
