Ready for lift off? This is a crimson breasted shrike. Behind it is the shell of a pretty big tortoise that someone had for lunch.
In Korea they tell the tale of the tortoise and the hare as the turtle and the hare. I always have to explain that a turtle is an animal that mostly swims in water, and a tortoise (which I don't think can be found in Korea anymore) is like a turtle, only it's shell is more concave, and of course it's a terrestrial reptile.
There are plenty of grammatical errors in storybooks and textbooks for ESL in Korea, which is why I am interested in developing my own ideas for short stories, and making sure they are edited to a high standard, certainly higher and better than what is available.
