More Climate Porn

One of the arguments for why global warming isn't happening (I prefer the term Climate Change, and Climate Chaos even more), is because scientists have found that sea temperatures around the Arctic oceans have dropped.

When I want to drink a cold Coke I put ice in it. Then the Coke (and liquid around the ice) cools. Because the liquid is colder does it mean the ice will reform? It means the ice melts and the liquid TEMPORARILY gets cooler. There is a net warming in other words.

In the forum of this website a reference is made to a NASA video,
http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/on_demand_video.html?param=http://mfile.akamai.com/20356/mov/etouchsyst2.download.akamai.com/18355/qt.nasa-global/ccvideos/jpl/earth20071001-480cc.mov
where experts don't blame warming for iceberg melt but different /changing wind patterns. They don't say what causes the change in wind patterns, but they do admit unprecedented melt rates.

Last point, notice the red dot on the second chart (below). All the climate change doubters say: "But look how much ice comes BACK in winter..." They ignore what is far more sinister - the HUGE fluctuationsin both directions {MELT and Re-ICING] that are higher than at any other point on the chart. Talk about selective vision!
today's Quikscat

ScienceDaily (Apr. 23, 2008) — The Antarctic deep sea is getting colder, which might stimulate the circulation of the oceanic water masses. This is the first result of the Polarstern expedition of the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in the Helmholtz Association that has just ended in Punta Arenas/Chile. At the same time satellite images from the Antarctic summer have shown the largest sea-ice extent on record. In the coming years autonomous measuring buoys will be used to find out whether the cold Antarctic summer induces a new trend or was only a "slip“.
