Satellite Image of the Earth (NEAR LIVE UPDATING IMAGES)


You can see all the Hurricane activivity in the western Atlantic. Note the proximity of Hurricane Ike to the expansive mass of Hurricane Hanna. Since we know Hanna is now covering the peninsula of Florida I don't believe the cloud detail we see here is 100% current. The more detailed images posted below provide a much clearer of near live up close detail of storm cloud activity via satellite. For more satellite image updates of the Earth, go here.
