ALERT: Fires and Snow Today in SA + WEEKEND WEATHER

NVDL: Quite a combination. There is definitely a nip in the air thanks to fairly widespread snowfalls. This weekend will also be chilly-ish: Johannesburg will be 07/19 this weekend, Bloem 08/19 and Cape Town 15/20.

Conditions favourable for the development and spread of runaway fires are expected over western KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape interior, Free State, North-West, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and southern parts of Limpopo.
Very cold, wet and windy conditions are expected to set in towards evening over the western high ground of the Western and Northern Cape.
