This is a view from the Storm's River bridge. There's a story that the guy who designed it discovered, when they built the bridge, that the bridge was 1 or two inches apart at the centre. So he jumped over the bridge and killed himself. Later in the day the bridge expanded, and this gap closed. Quite a few people have followed in his footsteps.
The highest bungee jump in the world has similar views, and is not far from here at Bloukranz.
