Travelers wait to enter El Paso, Texas, from Mexico on Saturday. Some, but not all, confirmed U.S. cases of swine flu had recently visited Mexico.

It's unclear why the U.S. cases have apparently been milder than Mexico's. "I do fear we will have deaths here," said Anne Schuchat, a CDC official.
