LONDON (AFP) — Two people have been admitted to hospital in Scotland after experiencing "mild flu-like symptoms" following their return from Mexico this week, the Scottish health secretary said Sunday.

"There are no confirmed cases of swine flu in the UK or elsewhere in Europe, however some travellers who had returned from Mexico are undergoing assessment," said Sturgeon, who is also Scotland's deputy first minister.

She added: "The patients have displayed mild flu-like symptoms and their current condition is not causing concern."
