SHOOT: I remember 1986, 1989, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2012 as being popular year's for the end of the world. Revelations in the Christian Bible is the authority on this, and of course Revelations was written at a time when the Jewish nation was under threat from the Romans. Revelations called that wrong too - as the |Roman Empire continued on for another 300 years. Of course, for the last 1700 years Revelation has been used to predict every successive regime change or to support the cause for war. I predict the world will end one second after you've read this. Oh you think it didn't happen? The world just has to end once and one person has to read this for it to be true. QED].
