For a terminally ill patient suffering from depression, Shabir looks very healthy. He's even able to walk around. It's also interesting that he is out and about with just a month to go before the election. Maybe he's going to replace Manuel as Minister of Finance, or Tito as Reserve the Reserve Bank for Us.

Convicted fraudster Schabir Shaik — who is serving a 15-year jail sentence for fraud and corruption — has been granted medical parole, according to reports.

  • Shaik served just less than two and a half years of his sentence, according to Talk Radio 702.

    Shaik has spent much of his jail term in hospital. His family has claimed he is suffering from severe hypertension and depression.
