NVDL:: I think one of the reasons AIDS is such a problem [in South Africa] is the high degree of child rape and child abuse (sexual abuse) in this country. By raping a child you tend to create a perpetrator, which leaves an awful legacy in terms of spreading a termional disease even more.

Thus the problem is really one of a criminal culture, and an abusive culture. This mindset needs to change. Education is one way, but look at the state of education in this country? I've taught in SA school's and it's not a fate I'd wish on my worst enemy (barring one).
