I had mixed feelings about going out. Decided to get out of my apartment in the end, if only just to get a nice meal at Gecko's. The Burger was good but the salad was terrible. Had a few beers, and then went to Helios where there was a lot of male posturing. I was almost guilty of some myself. As I left a guy called out, to us I suppose, and when I looked up he was like, "Not you, do you think I'm trying to get your attention you fag." I thought about going back inside and throwing one of the three losers off the balcony. Caught a taxi instead, after giving the characters a long hard look. The loudest mouth couldn't even hold my gaze. So not much of an evening, but did manage to pick up some phone cards, and it was nice to see Jo again.
