3 Love Songs and Strange Dreams

Well 20 000 came and went, with 10 days to go. This blog started on 29 October last year. I thought I'd see 20 000 with two days to go before The Birthday Blog.

Today my mate, Allan, sent me an MP3 recording of a song he calls Big Apple Core. The lyrics are good, and the so is the song.
Been playing it on my computer all morning. I think, with enough effort, Allan could make it big. He has the voice, the talent, and the combination of imaginatiion and intelligence to make the sort of magic that becomes popular music. He also knows some people on South Africa's Pop Idol scene, so who knows, he might pull something big off.

My current favorite song is It's All Good, a collaboration between Dempsey and Sinead 'o Connor. I'll provide the lyrics at some stage I imagine.

I'm swimming tonight, half an hour earlier than usual, and might go up Jeongbalsan for some pullups if I can manage dinner before the Bamgashi restaurants close.

Had strange dreams about running on runways to airplanes caught up in queues, American airline people, dressed in yellow, providing polite but unhelpful service (your plane is ready for takeoff sir, but you're not in it) and then being dropped off on a beautifully lush, but unfamiliar island, where I decided to stay, and then had to leave...
