3 Chill

Almost another week gone. It's getting chilly now. It's weather for soup and hot chocolate. The leaves are blushing or turning gold, before they leave naked branches above and around them.

I need to send more boxes off, but am reluctant to do so before I have confirmed that the last box actually arrived. I don't trust the South African postal side, and am even worried about flying with certain items of luggage (since my cellphone was snatched out of my luggage at Jpohannesburg International Airport when I was there last).
In a way I see the theft of some stuff a way of cutting off the fat of excess baggage. On the other hand, there are some things I'd like to remain in my possession. Like my bike, my flatscreen and my camera. Is that too much to ask. A courier like Fedex is possibly the only guarantee of getting stuff in one piece from a door in South Korea to a door in South Korea. But you have to pay for that.

I'm cooking a delicious broth, a Korean dish. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's a kind've pasta soup. The pasta is pretty big and chewy. I'll post and photo later tonight.

I'd better read the Harry Potter book I have. It's as heavy as a brick and it's definately staying here when I go.
