Day 17 (60) Lost and Found
Did sleep for an hour. When I woke up I thought it would be 5am or 6am but it was only 10:30pm. Felt very tired still, so left the phone unplugged and thus cancelled my meeting with Erion. Would have liked to have seen her, but calling one day before, and offering only one time, is cutting it a bit fine.
Cleaned the apartment from top to toe, and then searched everywhere for my favorite riding shorts, the red RIDE magazine shorts I got in South Africa. Gone. Maybe I left them in the locker room at Olympic Sport Centre. I seemed to remember wearing them there when my inner leg was still so badly chewed up.
I took out an old pair of blue and yellow Mercatone Uno shorts. Did the job.
Indoor Cycle 1:15 (5 minutes longer than the last time if I remember correctly)
Heart rate: 131 avg (154 max) (am happy with these figures!)
Kcal: 1113
Temperature (with aircon on): 25 C
Turned off the lights and opened two windows on my computer so I could watch the time trial stages of the 2003 and 2005 Tour's while cycling. Curiously enough I found the music more motivating (I've made a special Exercise Music Folder for moments like these).
I hope a will find the form resembling (even faintly) the picture above in a few months. I brought my indoor trainer all the way here, so I want to get full use out of it over the next 2 and a half months. Once or twice a week minimum should do it.
Got in the shower after this workout at 4am. Now hopefully my pillow will cushion my falling alseep...
