Madoff Ate The Rich For Breakfast

There is something disgraceful about someone who steals more than they could possible spend in several lifetimes. $50 billion might not sound like a lot. Try this: $50 000 000 000. Not to put that into perspective, you can buy an amazing house for $5 000 000. Are you telling me that Madoff wanted to buy himself 10 000 houses worth $5 million?

Mark my words - as more and more people become economic losers, they are going to turn on the flithy rich with a vengeance. Wealth is about to go underground. It's about to go COMPLETELY out of vogue. It's about to become target practise for the growing mob of have-nots.

Madoff Made Off With $50 Billion

The alleged victims who sunk cash into veteran Wall Street money manager Bernard Madoff's investment pool include real estate magnate Mortimer Zuckerman, the foundation of Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, and a charity of movie director Steven Spielberg, according to The Wall Street Journal.

"There were a lot of very sophisticated people who were duped, and that happens a great deal when you've had somebody decide to be unscrupulous," said Harvey Pitt, a former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, a regulatory agency in charge of monitoring investment funds like the one Madoff operated.
