Got to the pool as late as possible to avoid the crowds. Was pretty crowded at 17:15 but thinned out gradually.

I did the first 250m in 3:24. That's 4 seconds faster than my previous best. Couldn't really believe it, and had to turn around before reaching one side because one guy got in my way. Decided to try again in the lane next door where there was only one swimmer.
This time I did a 3:25. That's definitely a new record, so I am pretty happy with that. I need to pursue my all time best of 3:04 now.
Weight continues to increase as exercise increases. Bizarre, but the tipping point is out there somewhere...
Met Corneli afterwards at Pomodorro. had a nice salad and pasta and listened to the tales of her trip to Thailand and looked at the photos.
Headed to the Puma store to look for The Island outfits. The store is gone. Also went to her school to see if there was any mail for me. Nothing there either.
Corneli bought me a lovely pair of Billabong shorts and a t-shirt. Goign to wear those tomorrow.
