I gave one of my students the 6th Harry Potter book today. An act of generosity? Maybe, but also stage 1 of Getting Rid Of Heavy Stuff before takeoff. There are quite a few books and things I need to either sell, ship or lug.
Had a terrible sleep due to the combination of writing 'Birds' last night till 5am, and two phone calls and just being somewhat distressed about the divets that have been chewed out of my upper inner right leg. The wound is still not dry, and still painful, hence I passed up on the run with Rowan (but had a good chat with him when he called just before 7am nevertheless).
Annie also called. She's going to Cambodia on Saturday for a few days.
The exchange rate has improved slightly from the rate quoted below (as it was earlier today). This is good because I didn't transfer any money today. Will do so tomorrow, since I have to make an effort to arrive at school a bit earlier tomorrow as well.
Got some interesting emails today, and Corneli says a letter arrived for me at her school... ;-)
