There was a new face in the elevator this morning. He asked me what I thought of Ilsan, and then had his interview with the director. It seems he was happy about the hours and the general terms of the contract, and since he's worked for a year in Korea already, they were happy to take him on. So he will replace me in January next year. His name is Chris, and he's from London. 24, and interestingly enough does clay animation.
I showed him my apartment and he thought is was adequate. He also sat in on some classes with several of the teachers today, and is off to Thailand (Ko Chang he thinks) before works starts for him on January 3. I'll be on the other side of the world by then.
I ended my last class today on a high note. We quickly discussed Synergy in Business, and then did the Jerry Maguire/Rod Tidwell roleplay, where Rod's riding Jerry's ass, like Zorro, getting him to SHOW! ME! THE! MONEY!
You can't do a roleplay like this with a straight face. At one point Rod says:
"Yeah, that's it brother but you got to yell that shit!"
It was a nice lighthearted way to end off the day.
