Week 6 Day 6

Run: 7.5km
Time: 41:30

Home - Lake Park (1 lap) - Home
Left at about 11:40pm, was chilly, (maybe 3 or 4 degrees C) but worse was my perspiration which started to freeze against my body, and that was really cold.
I wore my Polartec fleece, and went for the Eminem Beanie instead of the Woolly Mammoth, which is a bit too warm.

Corneli provided valuable support on the MTB, and a little inspiration to go faster. She said she and Karlee do a lap in 31:30 or so, so I aimed to get close to that. Go to the traffic lights (1.5km) in 8:30 and after a lap I was at 31:30. Ran home easily in about 10 minutes.

Felt a few small twinges in my right foot (pictured above). I can definitely feel the benefits of all the leg exercises in gym. Aerobically I've deteriorated, but my muscular strength is a lot better. I felt like turning on the pace, and 4-5 times I did a prolonged burst. So the whole run was a kind've fartlek.

Felt like a little breakthrough run, as I feel motivated and pumping afterwards.
