Barbra and Christine

I've just had a look at the Korean version of a blog. It's quite interesting. You have cute little characters with voice balloons, and you can direct them and have them interact. You can also play music in the background. The generic blog-type site here is cyworld.net. Everybody seems to use it. Barbra has a heck of a lot of selfportraits taken using her cellphone.

It's interesting to be on the inside of one of these web-diaries. I got in because Barbra gave me her username and password. She wanted me to have a look around.
I often see Korean girls taking photos of themselves. They might be in a shopping centre, or in the park, or in a coffee shop. Quite a lot of time goes into preening and shooting self portraits. A few of the pictures on Barbra's cyword site, even though they've been snapped at arm's length, are quite fetching. Barbra's one of the more attractive teachers at our school. And Christine is attractive for her friendliness and modesty. SSSsssh. Ssssssh!!! The most attractive, in my humble opinion is probably Jenny. Sssssh. Jenny's also very down to earth, very mature and kind've modest. If I give Jenny a compliment, she kind've blushes, she's kind've modest about it, and she wants to move on, because she doesn't like being self conscious.

Barbra is on the left. She said she'd go with me to Phuket if I paid for her trip. Jan made the remark that he'd also like to go if I was paying.
Yesterday in the staff room Barbra said, "Christine likes Jan."
I said, "Oh, probably because he smokes and then they can share cigarettes right?" I was playing dumb.
"No," Barbra said. "Because he's more handsome than you."
So that's one way to describe Barbra. Another way is to suggest that if she was princess Fiona, in Shrek 2, at the point where Shrek tries to kiss her, thereby insuring that they will both live happy and beautiful ever after, she would have pounced at the chance.

Christine and I get along pretty well. Her classes are quite a lot of fun. They have to be, because the textbook seems to be designed to put children asleep and to slowly turn teachers into sleepwalking zombies.
Today Christine told me that she saw Barbra when they were on holiday in Saipan. To précis: Barbra has a great body.

Jim Carrey voiceover: Alrighty then.

These are the sort of meaningful conversations going on at work.
