Reading the Sunday Times article regarding Jacob Zuma taking a fifth and possibly sixth wife has got me asking all sorts of questions. It appears that polygamy is okay under customary law however it is not legal in a court of law. This means that a man can have more than one wife in South Africa. This is rather a contentious issue.
