Had the lane mostly to myself. These days the pool seems to be pretty open and empty almost every time I go. I wish this had been the case a few months ago. Felt the strain of gym in my arms, but felt stronger than usual as well, and seemed to be feeling the water a lot better than Sunday.

I ate some junk last night.
I intended to go to gym after Carrefour, but I've felt really moeg (tired) today. I drank quite a lot of coffee to get my engine turning at school. Despite drinking water and lemon tea, my throat felt very dry, and quite tender.
I've had a strange but useful insight. Although I feel like my motivation for the Ironman isn't really there, it struck me today that in less than 3 weeks I'm going to be running on beaches without my shirt on. I 'm keen on being buff for the beach. That's an immediate incentive to loose a bit of spare tire, and to pump out a few more muscles.
In terms of today, my body probably needs an occasional day off from gym. Tomorrow I'll do a 20-30 minute easy run in the gym. I'd like to visit the gym twice tomorrow, once for a run, and another time for chest and or legs. I'll do that if I'm feeling fairly gongganghan (healthy).
