Gym: 25 minutes.
Running: 17 minutes
Run distance: 2.04 km
Hamstring curls: 2x10/2x5 (5kg)
Pullups: 1x10
Chest: 1x30
Rowing: 1x20
Foot felt okay. Ran very slowly. I can't say it feels strong. Body felt stiff and hamstrings very tired after this short session. I am disappointed that I didn't go cycling today.
I had a terrible sleep, 4 phone calls this morning and it took a while to sleep after each one. That just set a very weird tone for the rest of the day. I'd like to make more progress, substantial progress, in my training, from here on out.
25 minute workouts are better than nothing, but it is also barely enough to be called a workout. Do I really want to train? Why do I go to gym at the last moment, at night, have to rush it so I am not late for a movie. I need to get my priorities straight, plan workouts and execute them within a much broader timeframe. Rushing workouts is not the answer.
I feel like I can run indoors and if I run slowly I think my foot will handle it. Just take it very easy, 2-3 km and about 15-20 minutes for the first week, then 5km, 7km and see how it holds.
Getting a good night's sleep is the bottom line. I'd say that is the biggest threat to me executing workouts well. Feeling tired, feeling as though I haven't rested enough. I'd like to be fresher next week than I have been this week.
It's good that I am sticking to the plan of training a little each day.
