Didn't train yesterday, and am re-evaluating my goals for the next few weeks. Am not going to train when I have so much to do, for the moment. Set an economics exam paper last night, and that took more than an hour to type out and set out.
It's tough giving up training because the training balances me and helps me to destress (which is a kind of mental detox). So it's vital that I do train otherwise I find I start going nuts with all the garbage piling up, banging against my ears.
Here's a tentative training schedule for this week:
Monday
Rest
Tuesday
3pm Gym - Core + Swim - 5pm
Wednesday
3pm Cycle (Hills)
Thursday
3pm: Run to gym - cycle and core - run back - 5pm
Friday
2:30pm - Cycle 100km
Saturday
11am - Cycle 100km
Sunday
4pm - Run to gym, swim, run back
Will check weight, and try to maintain enthusiasm for cycling, especially after the recent disappointment. Need to set a new goal, a race, to work towards.
