Lost in Hong Kong

Halfway here I got stir crazy on the flight - just feel like I have been in an aeroplane all day (left PE at 7am and JHB at 13:10) and then did a 12 hour flight.
Am in Hong Kong now, 8:54 local time.

Huge apologies to at least half a dozen people I meant to call. My cellphone got stolen during the PE section. Quite crappy since I only needed it for another 2-3 hours and then would have packed it away. So I don't have about a zillion numbers that are otherwise only on my phone, but I guess I have committed some to memory.
It was a troublesome little monster so I maybe it deserved to find itself in criminal hands.

Anyway, felt quite gloomy on the way here, and thought I might fly back to SA once I arrive in Hong Kong. Will press on to Seoul, and have a few ideas how I can be involved in the magazine. Can do travel correspondence writing, film and culture reviews and what was the other thing...oh maybe report on interesting international sporting events. Atheletics, swimming, triathlon, maybe golf and other offbeat stuff. Will see how that flies.

Met some interesting people on the plane, including a girl who is going to stay in China on a 6 month mondelling assigniment and 2 Brazilians on a 1 year around the world tour, starting in Seoul. Interesting.

I am extremely sleep deprived so anything I say might be used against me in a court of law, so better keep it short and sweet.
Body is still sore (and a bit smelly after so long on the plane).
Will try to identify a marathon to prepare for and otherwise just swim for fun. Must turn my attention now to getting work and networking with the Korean contacts I have.

Will keep an open mind about staying in Korea over the longer term versus the opportunities beckoning back home. Will be in touch and post pictures once I've touched down in Seoul.
