This is one of the most amazing photographs I've ever seen...
A Supermoon photographed in March 2011 over the North Pole. But is it real? My intuition says no, because the size of the moon and the sun in the image are totally disproportional (in nature the sun and moon appear almost the same size). Here there is a mismatch that is simply too great to be credible. If it is an undoctored image,and the reflection of the moon in the water suggests that it might be genuine, then this is INCREDIBLE.
But sure enough...doing a google search [sunset at North Pole hoax] it turns out to be the digital craft of a 22 year old German astrophysics student - Inga Nielsen.
