Swine flu strikes Wimbledon

SHOOT: It's interesting that they're not testing for swine flu. Flu in the middle of summer in England...a bit odd don't you think. But of course the organisers don't want to know, even if it is. Ignorance is blitz.

Four ball boys and girls at the Wimbledon tennis championships have shown symptoms of swine flu.

The All England Club, which organises the competition, confirmed that some staff were showing flu symptoms. They were told to stay at home.

But spokesman Henry O'Grady said no cases were confirmed as swine flu, adding: "They haven't been tested for swine flu and they're not going to be."

People with flu symptoms were asked not to visit Wimbledon as spectators.

The All England Club did not confirm the age or gender of those affected.
