SHOOT: Doesn't say much for spontaneity does it. Was the whole Boyle thing staged? I think so. Is Reality Tv staged? Of course it is. I spoke to a colleague who auditioned for IDOLS. She said there is an audition before the TV audition. What's it for? To determine the entertainment value? In other words, every audition you see has already been performed and approved. Spontaneous huh.
