SHOOT: The Bulls have 11 Springboks and a flyhalf in fine kicking form (Morne Steyn). But the New Zealanders are tenacious fighters, so it remains to be seen which is the hungrier team. My money's on the Bulls, but expect a lot of spirit from the Chiefs.
Tomorrow’s key battle will be that of the two most consistent flyhalves in this year’s competition, the Bulls’ Morne Steyn and the Chiefs’ Stephen Donald. Steyn is in the best form of his life, putting the Bulls into the final last week with four drop goals, and is pushing hard for a place in the Bok XV.
Tomorrow’s other important game is the first game of the Lions tour, a warm-up match against a Royal XV in Rustenburg, a team comprised of players from the Cheetahs, Pumas and Vodacom Cup-winning Griquas.
