This is Seweweekspoort, an area of extraordinary folded rock formations. At sunrise and sunset these rocks glow gold. You drive between them, and find crystal clear streams in the valleys, flopping over marble white, and marble round boulders and stones.

Transport.htm#passes:
Said to be haunted, Smuggler's Route meanders through Seweweekspoort Pass. Brandyn smugglers travelled through here to avoid paying taxes on their produce. The toll-keeper is one of several legendary ghosts in this pass. For some years now, they say he has been seen running frantically along the road, swinging his lantern to warn travellers of threatening storms and rising rivers.
If time is on one's side, this is an alternativeway of getting from A to B compared to the sometimes less scenic highways.
