Failure

This picture was fun to do, although the theme was serious.

Failure represents a failure of perception, a failure of the mind, and a failure to see clearly. This is why I have focussed on the upper hemisphere of the face.

The primary emotion in this picture is despair and frustration. This leads us on a road that eventually has an end. The road is a motif that I've used all over.
I like to reference part of the human body in my pictures. Eyes, or hands, sometimes the mouth, or the whole body in outline or silhouette.

In South Africa I did a Sport Series, including a Runner, Cyclist, Swimmer, Diver, Golf, Surfing. I sold all of these to a doctor.

I need to find a new Series. Channels is a possibility. TV, Internet, Radio...because I'm interested to see how we communicate or what the effects are of exposure to certain kinds of communication. So that might be next.
