Lance Armstrong has been included in Team RadioShack's squad for the Belgian one-day Tour of Flanders classic.

The race on Sunday will be the seven-time Tour de France champion's first major one-day classic this season.

The 38-year-old withdrew from the Milan-San Remo race two weeks ago after picking up a stomach bug.

The Texan, who finished 47th at last week's Criterium International, is also set to compete at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France next week.

Flanders, or the 'Ronde' as it is also known, is the biggest one-day classic in Flemish-speaking Belgium.

The 262-km race starts in Bruges and finishes in Meerbeke, 30km west of Brussels.

It features long stretches of cobblestones, similar to road conditions on the third stage of this year's Tour de France.

"Ask me after the cobbled stage in this year's tour," Tweeted Armstrong before Thursday's practice run through the course.
