My question isn't to Naomi, but what was a warlord - Mr Taylor - doing staying at the Nelson Mandela B&B?
"I didn't receive a diamond and I'm not going to speak about that," she said.
She ended the ABC News interview in sarcastic mood by saying: "Thank you so much, goodbye."
She then stood up and punched the camera before leaving the studio.
Taylor is standing trial for crimes against humanity at the Hague for his alleged role in Sierra Leone's bloody massacres between 1997 and 2001.
Prosecutors say Campbell is refusing to be interviewed about the gift allegations, which they claim could help directly link Taylor to the possession of uncut diamonds.
Actress Mia Farrow told UN prosecutors that Campbell received the diamond in 1997 when they were both guests at the home of Nelson Mandela, where Taylor was also visiting.
She claimed Campbell described in detail a middle-of-the-night visit from two of Taylor's men.
"You don't forget when a girlfriend tells you she was given a huge diamond in the middle of the night," she said.
