Major news sites and blogs - well, some of them - are resembling each other more and more closely. What we're also seeing in branded web pages (from major media companies) that look almost no different to the sterile listings of aggregator pages. News is becoming vanilla, hence the necessity to ask these very real questions: who owns the news, who decides what is news, and what should be news?
