Rainmaker
Like the heli-whirl pattern of this plant.
There was a Cyclopede race today, or should have been, but was cancelled due to a cloudburst. I dragged my corpse out of bed anyway, arrived at the race venue dripping slightly, and finding absolutely no one there. I really wanted to cry...just because I put a fair amount of fear and trepidation into this 100km race, and prepped for it in various other ways. I think giving up the coziness of my bed while it was raining maybe hurt the most. I thought I may have missed the start by one or two minutes, so ended up trying to catch ghosts.
Cycle: 1:57
Distance: 55km
Max HR: 158
Had a quietish day otherwise, rescuing woodpeckers and such.
Am going to see some lion cubs tomorrow morning and doing another cycle, probably in the afternoon.
