My Impressions of Jeanne

When you consider the court documents and contents below, and you imagine this 17-18 year old prisoner facing 40-50 judges, on a daily basis, you realise how often they lay traps and tricks for her to perjure herself. That she did not, for months on end, speaks of her mental toughness and acuity. Jeanne may not have much of an education, she could not even write her own name (letters were dictated) but there can be no doubt that she was very very smart. And courageous.
