Week 52, Tuesday

What a beautiful day. When I stepped outside it was warm and clear and beautiful, with a slight breeze for balmy effect. It's a day like this that is terrible to lose because you're working. Would be lovely to have gone rollerblading, or cycling through the countryside.

I managed to catch the wrong bus, but picked it up before disaster, and only arrived 40 or so seconds late for work...well, classses only start half an hour later. Could have been a lot worse. I have a list of the buses now that are going where I am going.

Some rudeness from a couple of students, especially Jackson and Peter, who I'll codename Dracula and Hellboy for short. Just obstinate and difficult. And Morning wouldn't stop playing with an elastic band so I eventually threw it out the window. Just called me Monster Teacher.

My colleagues are sweet and helpful.

Wanted to run after work this evening but was tired and starving. Will try to run tomorrow before work...can be hard to teach and stand on tired legs...but lets see. Need to be training...am I sounding like a stuck record.
Have had a good lead for something else worrisome to focus on as the next step of what I am writing. The water here, coming out of the taps, has so much weird stuff in it it seems to really dehydrate the skin. Ironic isn;t it - that washing, getting your body wet here actually dries it out...

Got some funny email attachments this evening, which made me laugh. Very sleepy now. Must sleep before midnzzzzzz.
