The Grass Is Singing

I'm feeling good - a contrast to this morning.

I've been in all day. The sky has looked murky and dirty so I have stayed indoors.

I watched A Life Aquatic (Bill Murray) and Hotel Rwanda. I also slept a lot, which I think is a good way for the body to heal.

I have been considering flying back to South Africa some time this week. I'm going to think about it some more. I think it is important to stay and do one more year, but not if I am really miserable. I think my unhappiness has been tied to my illness, and some other significant things, people I miss in South Africa etc.

I'm feeling quite humbled by this experience - being sick. At least I have learnt more about myself and what I appreciate and who is important to me.
