Look, when Bryan Habana gets the ball it makes me wonder if he was ever a pick-pocket because he tucks his head in (like he is dodging bullets) and becomes very elusive as he dodges and ducks. At least he moves the ball forward and is a game maker. The same cannot be said for Ruan "Ruin" Pienaar. In the last move against Italy he somehow tossed the ball into the air (as though suffering from a uniquely rugby version of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde syndrome). This move would almost certainly have been a try if Pienaar had been brought to ground and simply offloaded. Unless voodoo is at play here, Ruin needs to be replaced for the foreseeable future. He's been guilty of some of the most questionable rugby - he's had passes bounce off his chest and other frankly ridiculous game messes. The coach has given him a break, but I think the game needs a break from Ruin.
I see Qatar Airways sponsors the weather on SKY TV. Something tells me that once that contract ends, Qatar might soon follow. 90% of the airline business is to be sold as scrap with fuel prices now heading north of $130. If you were thinking of doing an around the world trip, of vising Cuba or Jamaica or the British Virgin Islands, I suggest you do it now.
I was telling someone about a Jewish kitchen where there are separate basins - one for milk and one for meat. She responded that her daughter had au paired for an American couple - Jewish - who had two separate kitchens. No fast food was allowed in the house, and knives and forks and spoons were dedicated to dairy or meat but never combined. Look the idea is to be hygienic, but building two kitchens is taking that philosophy a bit too far, not so. But it's no wonder the Jews are so often very wealthy - any group who are compelled by their beliefs to build two separate kitchens have to work pretty hard to maintain that sort of lifestyle, and I guess success is based on being consistently aware of the details, and the fineprint in them.
